A (Relatively) Simple Quick-Action-List
The necessary code is fairly self-documenting: check out that index.html file, view source, check out the CSS3 logjam in master.css and have a play.
I've been building menus like this for a little while now and this is sort of where things are coverging. It looks quite nice in modern browsers, and remarkably doesn't look bad in IE either (though this iteration's css is NOT TESTED IN IE), because IE can... yeah. Have unpleasant things happen to it.
