Snippets

Useful snippets of code that do not really warrant their own repository

5 years after

These projects are either snippets of code or are incomplete. When I do more work on them, I will probably move them into their own separate repositories at some point.

Summary of projects:

pjeg

Extracts jpegs embedded within other file formats (tested with PDF files).

Euptelea

Indexes emails in Maildir format for offline searching. This is useful for
large amounts of email in archives.

Ixora

A silly little dodging game I whipped up in an evening. It has an annoying
bug with collision detection.

Mixopterus

A web application that generates quizzes for users to play. Quizzes can be
inputted manually or are automatically parsed from YAML files. This is mostly
complete and usable, except for quiz editing in the admin panel.

Zamia

An experiment with steganography, using the standard LSB algorithm to encode
bytes of data in 24-bit colour. Encoding and decoding works, but integration
with ImageMagick is incomplete.

I am still deciding on the licensing for the code within this repository, so if you would like to use anything, please contact me: zwerfvogel [at] gmail.com
